Hi, I’m Layla

I’m a passionate Newborn Care Specialist & Postpartum Doula that aims to give every mother and family the care they deserve as they navigate parenthood!

My Approach

Collaborative Birth Worker

As a Postpartum Doula, I understand the physical, mental, and emotional challenges that come with adding a new member to the family. Whether it's providing guidance on breastfeeding, assisting with newborn care, or offering emotional support, this Doula is equipped with the knowledge and skills to address various concerns collaboratively as a family unit.

Moreover, I recognize that every family is different and requires personalized care. I take the time to understand the specific needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds of each family they work with. By doing so, I can provide care that is sensitive, inclusive, and respectful of individual circumstances.

Hands-On Newborn Care Specialist

In addition to being hands-on, I bring a positive attitude and a wealth of resources and materials to enhance your newborns needs. From educational materials on infant development, guiding parents through firsts of parenthood, aiding families in organization and household running after bringing home a new baby, care with infants born with delays or disabilities, etc. I am committed to equipping you with the knowledge and tools necessary for a smooth transition into parenthood.

My ultimate goal is to provide the best care possible for you and your family. I am open-minded and adaptable, always ready to be where you need me to be.

The Visitor

This plan is designed to provide minimal care for families who may not require extensive assistance. It caters to situations where you may have family members supporting you during the postpartum period but would like to give them a well-deserved break. If this sounds like your situation, this service is perfect for you!
